The Goal for the Blog System

The goal is to demonstrate and test some of Doug Engelbart's HyperScope theories. This means that the system needs to be faithful to the HyperScope theory and functionality, while also staying within the scope of what we are able to do.

The goal is also to provide a useful online diary and discussion system of the development of the Invisible Revolution project and of history of computing in general. That means the the system needs to be inviting and lively while staying within the broader blog community and it also needs to provide for easily accessible discussion input and access.

This system built and tested as Frode Hegland's MSc project in Human-Computer-Interaction. You can read more about that at cynapse.org Stage 1 was funded by LiSA sales speakingassistant.com and stage 2 is being funded by personal funds. Stage 3 has no funding yet.
